Carolyn Quan

Carolyn Quan's fine art photo collages are a unique combination of her own original 35 mm photographs that are creatively blended and transformed into imaginative works of fine art.

An artist since childhood, Quan has evolved into an innovative, contemporary artist whose unique creative vision has captured the hearts of art collectors worldwide. The daughter of a hula dancer and graphic designer, Carolyn was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and earned a degree in Commercial Design and Photography from the Ontario College of Art.

After working as a graphic designer in television for 3 years, she moved to New York City where she became a music industry Art Director and won 4 gold records while designing album covers for celebrities. In 1992, Quan began her own graphic design company which catered to the greats of the entertainment industry.

In 2000, after 11 years in NYC, Quan moved to Hawaii where she now has galleries on Maui and Oahu. Since 9/11 she has focused her creative endeavors on her fine art which is inspired by spirituality and the beauty she finds in nature and humankind.
