When Apples Dream

This painting, inspired by one of the artist's own dreams, is filled with images from Victor's subconscious. Here we see the apple in the foreground; it dreams of the tree which may grow from its seed, and the house which may be built from the wood of the apple tree, and the people who may live within that house. Below the apple, are all of the apple trees which have grown from its seeds, and a whole village constructed from the wood of the apple trees. The lights are on in the houses of the village, indicating the human inhabitants, who are at home in their apple-wood houses.

So in this painting, Victor shows human life as the dream of an apple. Our entire complex world may be just an apple's dream!
