Meditation

Here Victor shows the pathway of your life as a bridge: a narrow route stretched over the void. As in Victor's other paintings, the small house (on the cart)symbolizes the physical body, the house of the soul. The small man steering his horsedrawn cart represents your soul, in control of your body and your emotions as you travel along your life's path.

There is a presence that always watches (eye). The light of illumination (candle in the boat) is visible to you from every point on the bridge. In the plants are two angels, who guard over you on your journey.

In the background at the top of the painting, the yellow color moves into the pink in a pattern like that of fluid dripping. Victor states that he uses this symbolism to represent the way inspiration moves into our world through the arts, such as music, sculpture, painting, dance, and the other forms of artistic expression.
