"High Art": A Decade of Collecting -- The Museum maintains one of the world's most comprehensive collections including over 7,000 pieces. The artwork offers artistic visions as a way to inspire us and stretch our imaginations. This art exhibition affords us the opportunity to show 50 of the works acquired in the last decade, contemporary artists with boundless imaginations. Mimi Stuart's painting captures Eugene Cernanís own memory of his walk on the moon.
Touching on the past, present, and future of flight... the exhibitions offer visitors a unique opportunity to appreciate the technology that enables men and women to survive in space, and then to step away from the impressive hardware that fills the rest of the Museum and enter the space of the imagination, created by a group of visionary artists.

At the moment it must stay on the east coast for upcoming airshows and museum exhibits, but close-up photos can be viewed at any time. Dr Aldrin autographed Beyond at the 40th Anniversary Celebration of Apollo XI aboard the USS Hornet Aircraft Museum when close to 4 thousand visitors crowded in to hear him speak.
