Dick Sargent, Owner
Dick Sargent opened Sargent's Fine Art 20 years ago and over the years, it has grown into one of the most diversified gathering of artists to be presented under one roof..... anywhere in the world. If you ask him, he will always say that he's been very lucky to have assembled such a creative, talented group from the four corners of the world while maintaining 30% local talent. He attributes most of his good fortune to his remarkable staff and the fact that they maintain a loyal, happy work environment. Dick never fails to mention that Sargent's enjoys a huge amount of repeat business from returning clients. "Once they (clients) become part of our art & jewelry collecting family, they visit us just to say hello and let us know that they are once more back on Maui." Our staff have developed many wonderful friendships with our collectors these last two decades contributing greatly to our success as a fine art gallery and jewelry store.

Kelly Wright, Fine Art Consultant
Kelly Wright has spent the last ten years traveling around the world searching for awe-inspiring works of art and the perfect wave to ride. His world tour includes: Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Mauritius, Rodrigues Island, South Africa, Argentina, Chili, Peru, across America, Canada, and all of the Hawaiian Islands. "My dream was to share peace and aloha around the world, spreading good cheer with everyone I met on the road. I also made it a point to paint and write my experiences and to study great art from all the major museums I encountered on my travels."
Kelly graduated with a Liberal Arts degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He spent eight months studying art and art history with his art teacher and mentor, Joseph Piasantin, in Florence, Italy. "Joe really was the person responsible for inspiring me to paint and for teaching me how to appreciate fine art. I have been painting large oil paintings now for over twenty years. I owe the whole journey to Joe who taught me how to see the beauty and wonder of fine art."
Kelly is absolutely ecstatic to be working at Sargent's Fine Art. "My appreciation for the the art here at Sargent's continues to grow everyday at work. I could not imagine a better place to work. I love sharing, teaching, and helping my clients find beautiful works of art that they will continue to appreciate in the future.
